Pharmacist - $10,000 Sign On Bonus

Our Client: Our Client is a full-service healthcare provider located in Panama City, FL that has served the Bay County Florida for over 40 years.

The Position: Our Client is seeking a qualified clinical pharmacist . Your primary function is providing general clinical and pharmacy services, including supervision of technical staff. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner. Our Client is offering the following benefits and compensation:

• $58 to $73 (15+ Years of Experience) per hour

  • Nights $4 per hour
  • Evenings $3 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Setting : Central pharmacy for acute care hospital
• Shifts:
  • Mixed: 6am to 4:30pm & 9:30am to 8pm
  • Nights: 8pm to 6:30am, 7 on 7 off, Wednesday to Thursday
• Interpret orders and transcribe or verify them accurately and efficiently into the pharmacy computer system.
• Accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticals.
• Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies and appropriateness of drug and dose.
• Sustain the hospital formulary, minimizing nonformulary procurements, utilizing therapeutic interchanges and promotes rational drug therapy selection.
• Provide accurate and timely medication information to healthcare staff and patients.
• Assist with clinical services such as drug consults, nutrition support, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulant monitoring, pain management, IV to PO, renal dosing and other programs as defined by Pharmacy Leadership.
• Document all clinical activities and interventions accurately and completely.
• Complete notification reports regarding medication errors and adverse drug reactions.
• Effectively supervise pharmacy operation activities and provide support to the whole pharmacy team.

Job Requirements:

• B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE accredited school
• New grad pharmacists welcome to apply:
  • Completion of a PGY-1 in a hospital setting
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience within the last year
  • Internship in an acute care hospital setting is accepted

• Active Florida pharmacists license in good standing
