Description We are looking for an experienced Criminal Defense Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join our law firm client's team in Central Phoenix, Arizona. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in handling DUI cases and misdemeanors as well as some higher charges, who is committed to providing exceptional legal representation. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to managing cases and supporting clients in navigating complex legal issues. Responsibilities: - Represent clients in criminal defense cases, including DUIs and misdemeanors. - Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive case briefs. - Manage case files using advanced case management and document management software. - Draft and file legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court requirements. - Collaborate with clients to develop effective defense strategies tailored to their circumstances. - Advocate for clients during court hearings, trials, and negotiations. - Stay updated on criminal law developments and apply them strategically to casework. - Maintain clear and detail-oriented communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials. - Ensure all case-related documentation is organized and accessible. - Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, helping them understand their rights and options. Requirements - A minimum of three years of experience as a Criminal Defense Attorney. - Proficiency in using case management software and document management tools. - Strong knowledge of criminal law, including DUIs, felonies, and misdemeanors. - Excellent legal research and writing skills. - Ability to effectively advocate for clients in court and during negotiations. - Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with clients and legal professionals. - Bar admission and good standing in the state of Arizona.
