Job Description: Field Training and Safety Coordinator

 

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Training and Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a Field Training and Safety Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the competence, safety, and effectiveness of our field personnel. Your responsibilities will encompass onboarding new personnel, conducting hands-on training in water treatment testing and measurements, performing regular job-site safety and quality evaluations, and overseeing our safety training program. Responsibilities:

 

Onboarding and Training:

 

Facilitate the onboarding process for new field personnel, providing comprehensive training on safety protocols, operational procedures, and company policies.

Develop and deliver training programs that cover various aspects of field operations, emphasizing safety practices and technical proficiency.

Foster a culture of continuous learning by keeping training materials up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices.

 

Hands-On Technical Training:

 

Provide hands-on training to field personnel in water treatment testing, measurements, equipment rig-up, maintenance and related equipment operation.

Demonstrate proper techniques for conducting tests, interpreting results, and adjusting processes as needed.

Ensure trainees gain the practical skills required for successful field operations.

 

Performance Evaluation:

 

Conduct regular evaluations of field personnel to assess their knowledge, skills, and adherence to safety protocols.

Provide constructive feedback and develop action plans to address areas for improvement.

Collaborate with supervisors and managers to identify training needs based on evaluation outcomes.

Safety Training System Management:

 

Manage the company's safety training system, including creating training content and modules.

Monitor and track employees' training progress and certifications within the system.

Ensure timely completion of required safety training by all field personnel.

Collaborate with the Health and Safety team to address any safety concerns or updates in training content.

 

Documentation and Reporting:

 

Maintain accurate records of training sessions, evaluations, and employee certifications.

Generate reports on training completion rates, performance assessments, and identified areas of improvement.

Provide regular updates to management regarding the effectiveness of training initiatives.

Continuous Improvement:

 

Stay informed about advancements in water treatment technologies, safety practices, and training methodologies.

Proactively suggest improvements to training programs and materials to enhance their effectiveness.

 

Qualifications:

 

High school diploma.

Proven experience in training and development, particularly in field operations or technical environments.

In-depth knowledge of water treatment processes, testing, and measurements.

Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to field operations.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with trainees.

Proficiency in using training software and systems, including safety training platforms.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.

 

Certifications in training, safety, or relevant technical fields are a plus.
