We are currently seeking a full-time SLPA for our Chandler clinic location.

Role Overview:

  • Provide direct treatment and care for clients following treatment plans and protocols developed by the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Plan and implement client-centered treatment activities and tasks to support skill development and progress towards established treatment goals
  • Collect data and document progress towards established treatment goals
  • Collaborate with the supervising SLP and parents/caregivers to support the therapeutic process and client progress
  • Complete succinct documentation of services in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum of 20 credit hours of speech-language pathology technical coursework
  • Active speech-language pathology assistant license through Arizona Department of Health Services
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience or interest in early intervention and treating developmental disabilities
  • Passion for continuous learning and development of professional skills and knowledge
  • Positive and professional demeanor, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience or interest in feeding intervention is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Bilingualism is a plus!

Working Conditions:

This position requires intermittent standing , lifting, kneeling, and sitting . In addition , this position may include working closely with clients who have mental, physical, and/or behavioral diagnoses and may be verbally or physically combative.
