Job Description

Nexeo HR is hiring a Production Assistant  with administrative support experience to join our team and support a well-established manufacturing leader in Las Vegas. This role will involve working closely with production staff to support the daily operations and administrative functions of the production department. The position is based in both office and plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize shipping packets and release job orders after production office approval.

• Monitor and manage the internal job order queue.

• Proofread and close out completed job orders.

• Perform data entry and updates using ERP software.

• Upload shipment photos into digital document management systems.

• Review and communicate cycle count information for items showing negative inventory.

• Investigate and follow up on past-due internal job orders.

• Distribute and collect receiving purchase orders.

• Collaborate with the General Manager, Production Manager, Production Planner, Foreman, Purchasing, and Shop Supervisors on various projects and tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience with data entry and order processing in a production or manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build professional relationships.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Pay

$23.00 - $25.00 Per Hour

Schedule  

Day Shift 6:00am - 2:30pm
