Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Recruiter to join our team and
lead high-volume recruitment efforts focused on filling hourly production roles. The
ideal candidate will have a passion for sourcing quality candidates, ensuring a strong
fit for our production floor positions, and contributing to the long-term success of our
team. This role will play a key part in driving the organization’s recruitment strategy
and will have the opportunity to grow into a broader talent acquisition function as the
company expands.
Key Responsibilities:
• High-Volume Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for hourly
production roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
• Candidate Sourcing: Utilize a variety of sourcing methods (job boards, social media,
employee referrals, etc.) to attract top talent for production positions, ensuring a focus
on both quality and efficiency.
• Screening and Interviews: Conduct phone interviews, assess candidate qualifications,
and collaborate with hiring managers to identify the best-fit candidates for open roles.
• Onboarding Coordination: Ensure smooth onboarding of new hires, including completing
necessary paperwork, coordinating orientation, and ensuring a positive experience from
day one.
• Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand
their needs and provide tailored recruitment strategies.
• Candidate Experience: Provide exceptional candidate experience by maintaining clear
communication throughout the recruitment process and ensuring a smooth and
professional hiring experience.
• Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, track key recruiting metrics, and
provide regular updates to the HR Manager on recruitment progress.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the recruitment process to
increase efficiency and candidate quality, with a focus on retention and long-term
success.
• Employer Branding: Represent the company as an ambassador, promoting the
company's culture, values, and benefits to attract quality candidates.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a high-volume, hourly labor
environment.
• Previous experience recruiting for production or warehouse roles is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
is preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while being part of a larger team.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to find and implement new
ways to attract talent.
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and a strong desire to contribute to the team’s
success.
Job Setting / Environment:
• This position is performed in an environmentally controlled building. Prolonged periods
sitting at a desk and computer usage.
