Job Description

A Serving position involves providing exceptional guest service, managing tables efficiently, and handling transactions. Key responsibilities include taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Servers also assist with opening and closing duties, maintain cleanliness, and follow company standards.

  • Guest Service: Servers are expected to be friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, guiding guests through their choices and offering suggestions. They also ensure guests feel valued and well-cared for.
  • Table Management: Servers will be assigned multiple tables and are responsible for efficiently managing them, taking orders, delivering food, and refilling drinks.
  • Transaction Handling: Servers process payments, return change, and close checks accurately.
  • Alcohol Service: Servers will also be responsible for checking IDs and serving alcoholic beverages, adhering to all applicable regulations.
  • Opening and Closing Duties: Servers will participate in opening and closing procedures, such as restocking supplies, setting up the dining area, and cleaning.
  • Teamwork: Servers work in a team environment, communicating with other team members and guests to ensure a smooth and positive dining experience.
